Tall case brass dial clock, ca. 1730.

Mahogany tall-case clock. The hood has a molded cornice, rectangular sidelights, turned three-quarter columns at the front corners, turned quarter columns at the rear corners and a glazed door with square opening. Waist with cove and ogee moldings at the top and a rectangular case door with an ovolo molded edge and a circular glazed peephole. Base with cove and ovolo moldings at the top, and ogee molding at the bottom. Composite brass dial with applied chapter ring with roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, and applied cast ornament in the spandrels. Inside the chapter ring there is a calendar aperture. Chapter ring is signed with the maker's name. Thirty hour movement.
